Socio-Cultural Activities
Manas Robin’s Production has been associated with various socio-cultural activities across the region. Some worth mentioning are:
- Instituted the Dewram Tasa memorial award with a cash prize of Rs. 20,000.00 for the best student among the tea community every year since 2006.
- Organized Relief Camp for the violence hit people of Assam-Nagaland Border in Golaghat district of Assam on Aug 28, 2014.
- Organized a peace protest, opposing the “bandh” culture through music.
- Produced a song, raising the question “Why do we need dams? Give us an answer!”
- We have worked closely with UNICEF for publicising the importance of hand washing and hygiene among children.
Artist Management
Over the years we have also nurtured talents and we actively provide platforms for the new talents of the state & the region. We have made some of the biggest stars of the region reach the pinnacle of success that they enjoy today some of them worth mentioning are viz; Gayatri Mahanta, Nayan Nilim, Simanta Shekhar, Subasona Dutta among others.
We also organize talent hunts from time to time to bring in, identify and support upcoming talents of the region.
